DCMEF Awards now open

The 2025-26 funding round for the Damon Courtenay Memorial Endowment Fund (DCMEF) is now open.

Over the past 30 years the fund has distributed over 116 grants to people with a bleeding disorder in Australia. In 2024 the fund supported guitar and tennis lessons, gym membership, soft mats and a cubby house.

The Damon Courtenay Memorial Endowment Fund (DCMEF) was established by Haemophilia Foundation Australia in 1994. The Fund was established with financial support from the late Bryce Courtenay and the late Benita Courtenay in memory of their son, Damon.

Small grants are available to individuals or patient support organisations for the care, treatment, education and welfare of people affected by haemophilia or related bleeding disorders.
